Sint Maarten is modernizing its welcome for travelers by introducing a fully digital entry form. A simplified procedure designed to streamline the passage of visitors while ensuring compliance with local requirements.
Since October 8, 2024, Sint Maarten, the Dutch part of the island of Saint-Martin, has introduced a digital Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) form for all travelers entering its territory.
The digital entry form (ED card) can be completed online prior to flight check-in, ensuring a smoother travel experience for all passengers arriving at Sint Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM). While it is not mandatory to complete this form prior to departure, it is strongly recommended to facilitate arrival in the island state.
“This new digital form aims to simplify the arrival process for travelers while ensuring safety and compliance with local regulations,” explains the Sint Maarten Tourist Bureau.
The form is available on the official website: www.entry.sx. When filling in the online document, passport details, information about the place of stay in Sint Maarten and arrival flight details are all required.
On arrival in Sint Maarten, travellers must present a passport valid for at least 3 months, proof of accommodation, proof of sufficient means of subsistence and a return or onward ticket.
