Ukraine resumes issuing electronic visas for foreigners

After a suspension of more than two years due to the conflict in the country, Ukraine has announced that it will resume issuing its electronic visa from February 17, 2025.

After more than two years of interruption, Ukraine is relaunching its electronic visa program (e-Visa) as of this February 17, 2025.

“We inform you that starting from February 17, 2025, the Consular Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine resumes the issuance of electronic visas (e-Visa) for the entry of foreigners from 45 countries into Ukraine,” authorities announce.

The Ukrainian e-Visa system was initially introduced on April 4, 2018, allowing citizens of eligible countries to obtain a visa online without having to visit a consulate.

However, in 2022, the issuance of e-Visas was suspended due to the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
