Brazil: Temporary visas set to go electronic for visa-exempt travelers
As of September 1, 2026, Brazil officially provides for temporary visas issued to nationals of visa-exempt countries to be delivered electronically. The new system is expected to allow the consular stage of the process to be completed remotely and, in routine cases, eliminate the need to submit a passport solely to have a visa sticker affixed.
