Travelers who need an e-Visa for Morocco can once again submit their applications online.
Since August 20, 2026, the official Accès Maroc portal acces-maroc.ma had been experiencing significant technical problems that prevented many applicants from completing the online process.
On August 27, VisasNews reported on the disruption following a series of checks conducted jointly with travel formalities experts at Action-Visas.
New tests carried out on Monday, August 31, show that the issues encountered over the past several days have now been resolved.
Accès Maroc application form working normally again
Throughout the disruption, the Accès Maroc website itself remained accessible, and travelers were still able to check whether they were eligible for an e-Visa.
The problem arose later in the application process.
During previous tests by VisasNews and Action-Visas, applicants successfully received the email needed to continue their application, but the process could then become stuck, particularly after accepting the “travel conditions.”
Clicking the “NEXT” button would trigger a loading screen that never progressed to the next stage, where applicants are asked to provide their personal information. Several travelers had also reported experiencing the same issue.
That problem is no longer occurring.
During the latest checks carried out on August 31, 2026, VisasNews and Action-Visas experts were able to proceed normally through the application and access the stages that had previously been unavailable.
Eligible travelers can therefore once again use Accès Maroc to submit their electronic visa applications.
More than 10 days of disruption
The first technical problems were identified around August 20, 2026.
The disruption therefore affected the portal for more than 10 days, although the exact issue sometimes varied from one user to another. Applicants reported being unable to proceed after clicking the verification link sent by email, getting stuck after accepting the travel conditions, or encountering an application form that remained indefinitely on a loading screen.
So far, no official explanation has been identified regarding the cause of the disruption or any technical work that may have been carried out to restore the service.
e-Visa applications can resume
The portal’s return to normal will particularly benefit travelers with upcoming departures who had been unable to complete their applications.
Under normal operating conditions, Accès Maroc offers two processing options:
- Standard e-Visa: 72 Moroccan business hours
- Express e-Visa: 24 Moroccan business hours
These timeframes apply, however, only once an application has actually been submitted. The technical restoration of the portal does not, by itself, guarantee that every application will be processed within those timeframes, particularly after more than 10 days during which some applicants were unable to complete their submissions.
Travelers should therefore submit their applications as soon as possible and, when departure is approaching, avoid waiting until the final few days before their trip.
VisasNews and Action-Visas have been tracking the disruption for several days
Since the first problems appeared, VisasNews and Action-Visas have regularly tested the portal to determine whether travelers were once again able to complete their applications.
The most recent test previously published by VisasNews, carried out on the morning of August 27, still confirmed that users were unable to progress beyond certain stages of the form.
The checks conducted on August 31 therefore mark the first time since the disruption began that the application process has returned to normal operation.
VisasNews will nevertheless continue monitoring Accès Maroc over the coming days to confirm that the service remains stable.

After more than 10 days of disruption, tests carried out on August 31, 2026, by travel formalities experts at VisasNews and Action-Visas confirm that the Accès Maroc portal is operating normally again. The application issues observed since August 20 are no longer occurring, and eligible travelers can once again proceed with their e-Visa applications.
The portal’s technical recovery does not, however, guarantee normal processing times for every application. Following several days of disruption, travelers are still advised to apply well ahead of their planned departure.
