Madagascar (re)launches 90-day electronic visa

Madagascar has just added a new category of electronic visa, enabling tourists to stay longer on the island.

Since the reactivation of the service in April 2023, the e-Visa “only” allows international tourists to stay 60 days in Madagascar.

But good news for travelers planning a longer stay on the island, they now have a new e-Visa category at their disposal.

Tourists applying for an online visa for Madagascar can now select a 90-day e-Visa.

The price of the e-Visa for a stay of up to 90 days in Madagascar is US$55 or €50.

When it was activated in May 2019, the e-Visa application portal for Madagascar already offered this type of e-Visa, until it was suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
