Indonesia’s immigration services are down on June 20th, causing an inability to apply for visas online and delays at airports across the archipelago.
On its social media channels, the Indonesian Directorate General of Immigration announced that a disruption in its system is affecting its services this Thursday, June 20th.
“The National Data Center (PDN) server is experiencing issues today, Thursday (20/06/2024). This impacts all immigration services. The Directorate General of Immigration will immediately inform you once the system is functioning normally. We apologize for the inconvenience”, stated immigration of Indonesia.
In practice, it is currently impossible to apply for an electronic visa (e-Visa / e-VOA) on the government portal evisa.imigrasi.go.id. The site, which is difficult to access, confirms the ongoing maintenance with a countdown timer that will end in over 5 hours.
“During this period, applicants may not be able to apply for any of our services, including the payment process. We apologize for any inconvenience”, explained Indonesian immigration authorities on the e-Visa site.
The general immigration site, imigrasi.go.id, is also inaccessible today…
