PATTAYA, Thailand — October 17, 2026 — Elephant Sanctuary | Est. 2007 has opened its elephant sanctuary tour from Pattaya. Travelers staying in Pattaya can now book a half-day, no-riding elephant experience directly, with round-trip transfer from selected Pattaya areas to the sanctuary.
The sanctuary is not in Pattaya itself. It is about an hour from Pattaya by air-conditioned van, depending on traffic. We arrange the transport, an English-speaking guide, the activities, the meal and the ride back, so guests don’t have to organize anything.
No riding, no shows
None of our programs include elephant riding, and the Pattaya tours follow the same standard: no riding and no circus-style shows or tricks.
Guests spend the day feeding the elephants, walking with them and learning about their care from an English-speaking guide. This isn’t an observation-only program. Along with feeding, when conditions are suitable and the elephants are comfortable, there’s a supervised water play session. Activities depend on the elephants, the weather and safety.
Each mahout looks after one to three elephants and stays alongside them through the day, watching their behavior so that elephants and guests stay safe. The day also includes a stop at a mountain viewpoint with 180-degree views.

Two programs, one price
For anyone planning a no-riding elephant day trip from Pattaya, the main decision is timing. The two half-day programs cover the same core activities:
- Morning Program: pickup around 07:00–08:00, at the sanctuary about 09:30–13:00.
- Afternoon Program: pickup around 11:00–12:00, at the sanctuary about 13:30–17:00.
Return times depend on traffic. Both programs cost ฿2,500 per adult and ฿1,300 per child aged 4–8. The price includes round-trip transfer from selected Pattaya pickup areas, an English-speaking guide, insurance, elephant food, a local Thai meal, drinking water and free photos taken by the guide. Hotels outside the pickup areas may need a meeting point, a private transfer or an extra charge, and our team confirms this before the tour.
It’s a good fit for first-time visitors to Thailand, couples, families with children, solo travelers and anyone who wants to meet elephants without flying north to Chiang Mai.

Booking directly
Our own booking team handles every booking. Travelers send their preferred date, number of guests and hotel area by WhatsApp (+66 98 145 5500) or through the booking form on the website. The team replies with availability, pickup time and payment details, and can help guests pick between the morning and afternoon programs.
