“All Indonesia” arrival card mandatory from October 1, 2025

The “All Indonesia” arrival card will be officially rolled out on September 1 in Jakarta, Bali, and Surabaya, before becoming mandatory at all international airports across Indonesia starting October 1, 2025.

After announcing the creation of the “All Indonesia” digital portal, Indonesian authorities have confirmed the date of entry into force of the new electronic arrival card, a separate formality that complements the visa (e-VoA, e-Visa, or visa on arrival).

Many Indonesian embassies and consulates around the world (in Malaysia, India, the Philippines, Peru, Turkey, Brunei, Bangladesh, etc.) are providing details on the upcoming rollout of this online travel declaration.

From September 1, 2025, the measure will apply at three major international airports in Indonesia, before being extended to all air entry points in the country from October 1, 2025.

“All Indonesia”: a schedule now set

A few days ago, VisasNews introduced you to “All Indonesia,” the new digital portal designed to centralize arrival formalities in Indonesia. This system offers inter-agency integration, including immigration, customs, health, and quarantine, allowing processes that previously required several steps at different sites to be carried out on a single platform.

The authorities have now specified the rollout schedule for the “All Indonesia” arrival card.

From September 1, 2025, the “All Indonesia” declaration will be officially launched and will become mandatory for travelers arriving at the international airports of Jakarta (CGK), Denpasar-Bali (DPS), and Surabaya (SUB).

From October 1, 2025, the system will be extended to all international airports in the country, including Komodo, Makassar, Manado, Medan, and Sumatra, which are already incorporated into the system.

The country’s sea and land border posts could also be affected from October 1, 2025.

A formality to be completed online before departure… or on arrival

“All Indonesia” allows passengers to submit their arrival card online no earlier than three days before entering Indonesia. This free formality applies to all travelers, both international and Indonesian, and must be completed via:

Travelers who have not completed their travel declaration before arrival are still allowed to enter Indonesia. However, they must complete the “All Indonesia” arrival card online upon entry into the country by scanning a QR code, which is already available at certain Indonesian airports, particularly in Jakarta.

The authorities explain, however, that completing this step upon arrival may cause delays at CIQ (Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine) control due to the time required to process the data.
