Starting May 26, 2025, all foreign travelers will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) before entering Saint Kitts and Nevis.
As of May 26, 2025, Saint Kitts and Nevis will become the first Caribbean Community (CARICOM) nation to implement an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system. This new initiative is part of an ambitious modernization effort aimed at securing borders while providing a smoother, more intuitive travel experience.
Announced late last year, the initiative was recently praised by Prime Minister Terrance Drew as a major step forward in the Federation’s tourism infrastructure and border management.
“Today marks a transformative leap forward for Saint Kitts and Nevis. The ETA system embodies our vision of a safer, smarter and more connected nation,” said the Prime Minister during the May 15 Sitting of the National Assembly.
He added, “By embracing digital innovation, we are not only protecting our borders but also positioning ourselves as a Caribbean leader in smart travel technology. I urge all travellers and stakeholders to join us in this exciting new chapter.”
