Azerbaijan has announced plans to introduce a visa exemption for South Korean citizens. Unveiled during a diplomatic meeting between Baku and Seoul, the measure is expected to support tourism, business exchanges and people-to-people ties between the two countries.
Azerbaijan will grant a unilateral visa exemption to Japanese citizens for a period of one year. The measure, announced following a meeting between the two countries’ foreign ministers, is intended to strengthen tourism, economic, humanitarian, and cultural ties between Baku and Tokyo.
Citizens of Azerbaijan and the Maldives who hold valid ordinary passports can now travel visa-free between the two countries for stays of up to 90 days.
